Understanding Women: Part 1

Some Time Back I started thinking on how hard Sigmund Freud tried to understand woman (well not really because I have a few days with that in mind already), and for some reason my mind just started the emission of somehow twisted but certainly true statements on what women want.

I got to the point where I decided that if men want to understand women, then we should think like them, which is pretty much the dilemma since it is hard for most of us, I mean, sometimes women act as if they were bipolar and that just screws the hell out of us when trying to understand our respective girlfriends or the girls we like. Is that we just hate the fact that if we do something, it’s bad, but if we don’t it is bad too. Don’t they just have a lovely attitude? That is what makes it so hard for many even trying to understand women.

Now, at that moment we might just hate women’s mind but we can’t live without them, so is it really women’s fault we don’t understand them or is it just that we don’t try hard enough? That leaded me to the next list:

• Women don’t like over protection, but that doesn’t mean they like to be completely independent to the point that they could be able to manage our lives. They just want Confidence. And yes, they are very willing to discuss solutions; otherwise they wouldn’t ask us when they are not sure about something…
• It’s not that they hate the prince’s that come out of a Disney fairytale, but sometimes they just get bored of too much love!, it’s like when you have sex as a routine, you get tired of it. So add a spice of domination, testosterone, confidence and gym to the love you’re trying to demonstrate too her, but not too much…
• It’s not nice when we get them Chanel’s — 5 just because it’s the world’s most sold perfume to shut their mouths up (even though it’s a great fragrance), after they spent an hour or two (maybe a whole day) in the mall just to pick a present for us (even if they paid with our credit card). Spend at least 30 minutes picking up something that goes with them, you don’t know how much women appreciate that, even if they don’t like what we got them (but try to get something that your girl will love, know her first).
• Trips to the mall can be fun! Just look at her smile when you say “sure love, give me a minute to get ready” after she invites you out shopping, that is just satisfying, and if that isn’t enough, keep in mind that you’ll go to a Victoria’s Secret outlet and she’ll model for you, after the shopping.
• It’s not nice when we don’t find our dinner on the table, but is it nice to arrive so freaking late home after they spent the whole day preparing a special dinner for us and after they had to send the children to grandma’s house for sleepover? Think about it.
• Women are huge fanatics too; is just that they don’t understand the meaning of the superbowl to us, so start explaining folks. Perhaps they might sit to our side and yell at our team’s touchdown while putting up a beer!…
• They like alcoholic drinks too, just that they like them sweet, so the next time you get a six pack of Budweiser or a bottle of vodka, have in mind getting your beloved one a bottle of Bailey’s or a six pack of Smirnoff ice.
• They aren’t afraid of sex is just that they think it’s not nice doing it while watching a porn movie or like in a porn movie (this doesn’t apply to all women), after all we have sex with them, not with the TV.
• They like geeks too; after all, it’s nice having an intelligent conversation after sex, isn’t it? Well, not that intelligent. So geeks, please don’t think that much of sex and take a little more care of your appearance, stop reading all those weird fetish sex books and change those horrible glasses for contacts or for some nice looking ones!. Honestly, It’s scares the living shit out of anybody living creatures that only think of mountain dew, computers and sex knowledge that at the end you don’t use because you’re too distracted watching a real naked woman for the very first time.
• The first impression really count’s, so try to be yourself, even if you get all nervous in your first date and lie a bit about your likes and dislikes (everyone does).

See? It’s not that hard to understand women. It’s just a matter of trying a bit harder, being willing and cutting off the selfishness a bit.

Stuff that sometimes I do not get

Hey my few readers, I really hope you’re doing good. I had some time I did not post because of the work,school,errands on Santo Domingo and some other stuff. Anyways, I want to share some questions I made to myself yesterday.

It happens that a good friend of mine Has a 1 yr old baby and she loves her husband. While she was explaining to me about how different it is to be “married” and have a baby than when you are just dating someone. Things change dramatically. and I’ve noticed as well.

She explained to me the hard time she was hiving with her husband arrivin at 2AM home, how her husband wouldn’t want to spend time with the baby, how he disrespected her, how he wouldn’t go out with her, heck!, the guy wounld’t even get a job! Yet when they were dating he used to be sweet and a bit corny, now he doesn’t… things change.

I’ve been wondering what is it that happens with us after we finally get  the “yes” and start dating, what is it that happens with people when they gat married?

I’ve heard the saying “magic is gone” but, did that magic ever exist? Are we just liars that trick women just to be with them and have them as slaves in home? Are we fake people? Was it ever fun to go out with the women that is now your spouse?

Why the change? I really think small details and a bit of responsabilty make the difference between having an excellent or bad union, that’s all she’s asking for. I mean… Why don’t we get that women like to feel pretty, desired and safe? Is it so hard to accomplish that?

I know i sonud like a woman typing this  but sometimes, I do not get our species :P….

Having Fun with XARA XTREME

Today I downloaded Xara Xtreme and I having some fun with my Adobe illustrator substitute. It has a very user friendly interface and It works flawlessly on Hardy Heron :D. Adobe has something to look at, since their software lacks of response on some computers due to the requirements, Xara flies on my comp. I´ll be posting my progress with xara. In the meanwhile you can try it out on Windows and linux by visiting the Xara Website. Here´s my first screenshot:

General Fuzz: Electrónica para mis oídos

Mientras revisaba mi correo, descubro que tengo el primer comentario en los post de Life: XM, resulta que General Fuzz cruzó por el blog a promocionar su música ya que no enontró mi direccion de correo electronico y hay algo que quiero decir: GRACIAS.

General Fuzz no es nada menos que James Kirsch, estudió música electrónica en una escuela de artes y conservatorio musical llamado Oberlin, en Ohio, E.U.A. Sus creaciones son divinas, pues aún no se en que género clasificarlas, pues no es nada Dance, es mucho más que eso, es pura electronica, es música, entonces no cae ni en los generos: Trance, House o Electro, etc.. el punto está en que yo quedé encantado con su musica, es ese tipo de música electonica atmosferica, no es ambient. Este estilo se llama Down Tempo, es como el minimal del trance pero deben prestarle atencion, pues una vez escuchan querrán descargar los 4 albumes y lo lindo del caso: SON GRATIS! (bajo creative commons).

Danny Tenaglia prepara nuevo album, Futurism
